Strategic Business Mentoring for Growth
Strategic guidance for business leaders who know there’s more potential to unlock.
Is Business Mentoring Right for you?
Successful business owners often reach a point where they need strategic guidance and an external perspective. When you’re deeply involved in day-to-day operations, it’s difficult to see the bigger picture or identify what’s really holding your business back.
Business mentoring isn’t for struggling companies. Some of the most successful businesses use mentoring to maintain their competitive edge and continue growing. An experienced mentor becomes your sounding board, challenging your thinking, developing your leadership skills, and providing fresh insights on your business challenges and opportunities.
You get objectivity, accountability, and decades of practical knowledge to help you make better decisions and avoid costly mistakes.
Who do we work with?
With experience across coaching, recruitment, insolvency, fundraising, angel investing, hospitality, manufacturing and engineering, we bring proven insight into diverse business models and their operational realities. We partner with ambitious owners of established businesses (typically £100K – £1M turnover) who recognise themselves in these situations:
- Rapid growth, but constantly firefighting instead of leading strategically
- Stuck without knowing why – you sense more potential but can’t identify what’s holding you back
- Facing market changes and needing objective guidance on how to respond
- Working harder than ever, but feeling like you’re going backwards
- Successful but wanting better systems for sustainable growth
- Preparing for your next phase, but needing clarity on priorities

WHAT WE OFFER
Business Mentoring Sessions
Monthly 1.5-hour sessions where we turn strategy into results. This is where the real work happens – regular, focused support that keeps you moving forward consistently.
As your sounding board, I challenge your thinking, develop your leadership skills, and provide fresh insights on your business challenges and opportunities. Everything we work on is tailored to your specific situation and goals.
Each session includes:
- Progress review against your plan and agreed actions
- Honest feedback and constructive challenge on your decisions
- Practical problem-solving for current challenges
- Accountability for your commitments
- Celebration of your wins – recognising progress builds momentum
- Strategic adjustments as your business evolves
Why regular mentoring works: Most business owners know what they should be doing, but struggle with consistent execution. The external perspective and regular accountability keep you on track. Small issues get addressed before they become big problems, and you maintain momentum towards your goals.
The format: Online sessions that fit your schedule. Long enough for meaningful discussion, focused enough to drive action.

Strategy Sessions
Every mentoring relationship starts with a comprehensive 3-hour strategy session – a diagnostic process that reveals what’s really happening in your business.
What happens: We thoroughly analyse where you are now, identify what’s holding you back, spot the real opportunities you’re missing, and create an actionable plan with clear priorities.
Why it matters: When you’re immersed in day-to-day operations, you miss critical patterns and opportunities. This session provides the external perspective you need and becomes the blueprint for our ongoing mentoring work together.
Available face-to-face or online. Also offered as stand-alone sessions for business owners who need a strategic reset.

Association of Business Mentors – Member
My membership of the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) reflects how seriously I take my role as a business mentor. I joined because I believe in continuously improving my skills and staying current with best practice. Being an ABM member means I’m committed to ongoing professional development and adhere to their Code of Conduct, which keeps me accountable for maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity with clients.
The network and resources available through ABM help me bring fresh insights and proven approaches to my mentoring relationships. Regular training sessions and discussions with fellow professionals keep me sharp and learning from others who’ve been doing this successfully for years.
What this means for my clients is simple: you’re working with someone who takes their own development as seriously as yours. Just as I challenge you to keep growing your business, I’m constantly challenging myself to become a better mentor.
